Description
Our CREATE Intensive is a four-week program for pre-professional and early-career dancers ages 18 - 25. Program Objectives: Allow dancers to engage in creative processes with diverse choreographers in an inclusive and innovative setting. Classes are from approximately 9am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Dancers must be able to attend all four weeks of the Program.

Description:
HSDC offers housing accommodations for dancers in downtown Chicago. Housing is offered at an additional cost. More information is provided to students accepted into our Programs. Please note that for dancers attending our TEEN Programs, housing includes onsite Chaperone supervision.
Session Description
Program Curriculum Dancers will explore, research, and collaborate with Hubbard Street Company Dancers and Guest Choreographers. In addition to the creative process, dancers will attend one technique class daily. Group mentoring sessions and educational discussions are also embedded within the program schedule. Program Structure Every participant will have the opportunity to work with two guest choreographers. Dancers will work with external guest artists in a class size of approximately 30 dancers. In addition, every participant will engage in the creative process with one Hubbard Street dancer. Participants will work with each HSDC dancer in a group size of 12 to 15. Onsite casting will be held for placement into pieces created by HSDC dancers.
