Description
Geared towards college-aged students, Grainger Academy’s Ballet Trainee Summer Intensive provides a unique classical ballet focused experience for students ages 18-22. Over the course of 3 weeks, students will participate in the same training curriculum as our year-round Ballet Trainee Program, taking classes in ballet, pointe, variations, repertoire, contemporary technique, modern, Pilates, and more. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to engage with The Joffrey Ballet company during the intensive. This well-rounded program uses a meticulous training model to focus on artistic excellence and gives unique insight into what it’s like to be a Ballet Trainee in the Grainger Academy. Just like our Ballet Trainee Program, this intensive helps prepare students for a professional dance career and culminates with a performance of the learned repertoire.
