Description

Joffrey Ballet School offers a year-round training ground for pre-professional artists in a multitude of dance disciplines. You have the choice of study at Joffrey Ballet School, either Ballet or Jazz & Contemporary. The goal is to train dancers to work professionally, but most of the top ballet schools around the country do not have this vast range in training. They are focused primarily on a single discipline, and at Joffrey Ballet School we recognize the need for versatility. Our goal is to create a highly employable dancer. Dancers are here to embrace a future in dance, and we are here to help guide them on a successful career path.

Session Description

The Texas Trainee Program maintains the same focus on excellence as our NYC Trainee Programs, but in a location that allows us to provide the training at a considerably lower cost. The Housing and Tuition cost is $18,000 less per year than our New York Programs. Merit scholarships and financial aid are also available. The Texas Trainee Program has the same age requirements, accepting the serious dancer between the ages of 13 and 25. As with our New York City Programs, Texas Trainees are expected to either have completed their high school graduation requirements, or to be working toward completion. High school credits can be earned online, and study time is allotted each day for Joffrey Ballet School Housing students.
