Devon Carney is considering dancers to fill positions with KCB’s Main Company, KCB II Company, and the Trainee Program, however, we are unable to provide work visas for student dancers (KCB II/Trainees) and have a limited number of visas available for our AGMA company. Kansas City Ballet’s main company employs 30 dancers under the direction of Devon Carney. Devon Carney is creating a sophisticated, diverse repertory that offers powerful entertainment for all audiences. This is accomplished through commissioning new works by some of today’s most sought-after choreographers, giving rise to young talent, acquiring existing works by master choreographers, and introducing new interpretations of classic full-length productions. Dancers rehearse in Kansas City Ballet’s seven-studio home, the Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity, in downtown Kansas City. KCB is an AGMA company. The season is three productions plus The Nutcracker at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, and New Moves at the Bolender Center.
