The Choreography Workshop is a one week workshop taking place at the end of the Summer Intensive. It has 2 tracks: Dancer Track and Choreographer Track. The Dancer Track provides dancers ages 16-22 with an opportunity to simulate a company experience being engaged in rehearsal and creation processes. Dancers are selected and invited through a Summer Intensive Audition and must attend the Summer Intensive. The Choreographer Track is open to emerging choreographers ages 18-24. Choreographers will have choreography seminars, be paired with a mentor, and work with dancers to create in a process oriented environment. Choreographers are NOT required to audition or attend the Summer Intensive but are selected through an application process. The Choreography Workshop will culminate in a showing at The Bolender Center.
