MDR Apprenticeship is a paid apprenticeship designed for advanced dancers transitioning from limited professional experience into full company-level work. Apprentices participate in daily classes and rehearsals while working directly inside the artistic and production structure of Mystic Dark Room. MDR apprentices are held to professional performance standards and are regularly cast in immersive productions and special projects. The apprenticeship functions as a direct company track, offering real-world experience and a clear pathway toward full company membership. Apprentices train under the supervision of MDR artists and staff while learning the company’s TIC Technique and SUBO Language. The apprenticeship runs for 1–2 years, depending on individual progress, role readiness, and artistic development.
