NYTB opens its studio for pre-professional, collegiate, and post-collegiate dancers interested in working within NYTB’s unique Theatre Ballet repertoire. Prospective apprentice dancers and professional dancers looking for an expanded artistic experience are invited to apply. NYTB will host a two-week session for 15 dancers following the format of a typical NYTB rehearsal day with NYTB artistic staff including: Artistic Director Steven Melendez, Senior Dancer Jonathan Leonard, and Movement Artist Lili Tewes. New work will be created by choreographers Julian Donahue and soon to be announced guest artists. Repertoire will include Jim Sutton’s Laughing Matters.
