We are the only Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) in classical ballet in the UK, equipping students aged 10-16 with skills to progress onto professional vocational dance training.

Session Description
In addition to elite training in classical ballet, the Centre for Advanced Training Programme features classes and learning opportunities to create a solid foundation on which students can pursue their dancing aspirations. These include: Classes in contemporary dance, jazz, music and drama Studies in basic anatomy, nutrition and dance history Intensive and holiday courses to build on confidence and technique and to widen knowledge of other areas of the arts Opportunities for some students to perform with Northern Ballet Two free theatre trips each year
