Description

Audition for female and male dancers of the Corps de Ballet. Permanent and temporary positions. Following the audition days, permanent contracts may be offered for positions in the Corps de Ballet, as well as fixed-term contracts for the season. Professionalization contracts (24-month) will be offered by the “Opera national de Paris” for dancers aged between 17 (on January 1, 2025) and 23 (on September 1, 2025), for the Junior Ballet. All applicants to the Ballet's external competition who meet these selection criteria may be offered one of these contracts following the audition days on June 30 and July 2, 2025. All applications already received for the Ballet's external competition are likely to be selected for the Junior Ballet, so there is no need to re-submit an application. The Paris Opera Ballet never organises private auditions nor recruits on videos. Recruitment is only possible through our annual competition.
