About the audition: The audition will take place in-person on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the New York Center for Creativity & Dance (287 E 10th Street). Our studio will be open for warm-up starting at 10:30am, and callbacks will be from 3-4:30pm. Once registered, individuals will receive a reminder of their registration closer to the date of the audition. Parsons Dance is a contemporary touring dance company based in New York City, and builds new audiences for contemporary dance by creating American works of extraordinary artistry that are engaging and uplifting to audiences throughout the world. The company performs in New York and tours regionally, nationally, and internationally. In addition to choreography and performance, Parsons Dance seeks to positively impact youth, students, and communities through student performances, lecture-demonstrations, master classes, post-show discussions, and more. Benefits and compensation: We value our dancers and pride ourselves on treating them well, with benefits that include an average of 42 weeks of paid work a year; extensive domestic and international touring; health insurance after 60 days with no employee contribution; and a retirement plan.
