Description
Attracting ballet’s best students from across the country, School of Philadelphia Ballet hosts its annual five-week Summer Intensive in Center City Philadelphia at the Louise Reed Center for Dance, home of Philadelphia Ballet. The Summer Intensive offers serious-minded ballet students high-caliber ballet instruction, including classical ballet technique, pointe work, men’s classes, and variations, as well as contemporary/modern dance, character, Pilates, and body conditioning. The Summer Intensive concludes with a student performance. Admission is highly competitive, and select students may be invited to attend School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Professional Program.
