This diverse and robust jazz concentration exposes students to a wide range of dance styles in preparation for today's job market while developing their individual artistic style. Dance majors explore Broadway techniques, Hip Hop and commercial and contemporary jazz styles ranging from classical repertory to current trends. Our graduates are versatile and adaptable dancers, with solid technical foundations that includes theatre and acting skills, along with tap and voice instruction. The full-time faculty have worked with professionals from around the world, and guest artists and choreographers regularly come to campus to conduct master classes and workshops.
