Performing dancer training The training project for dancers at the Rosella Hightower National Higher Dance Center aligns the link between initial training and higher training with the same goal of excellence and the same objective of professionalization. Its broad artistic spectrum is based on the complementarity of classical and contemporary techniques, to train versatile dancers adapted to today's choreographic world. Its main objective is professional integration with a strong international outlook. To achieve this objective, the PNSD Rosella Hightower develops close and constant links with the professional world in the Region, in France and around the world. The PNSD Rosella Hightower gives an important place to taking into account the health of young dancers with the integration of health issues within its educational programs and its infrastructures. Higher Cycle - National Higher Professional Diploma (DNSP) in Dancer (16 to 21 years old) More information (2023/24) More information (2023/24) Updated information (2023/24) The objective is to deepen the training of the dancer-performer developing their personal artistic profile based on the mastery of classical and contemporary techniques and artistic and professional situations. This 3-year cycle is based on complete artistic training nourished by artistic and theoretical contributions. It leads to obtaining the DNSP Dancer and simultaneously to the Ingemedia license from the University of Toulon. The last year of the course takes place according to two mechanisms chosen by the student's professional project. Through a junior company (Cannes Jeune Ballet Rosella Hightower) in which students finalize their training in real conditions Through learning with a schedule alternating between training within the PNSD and immersion in a professional dance company.
