Video Requirements:
To audition by video, please follow the video instructions below. Upload your video to a hosting site, like Vimeo. Select the “SI Audition Pre-Registration” tab at the bottom of this page to pay the audition fee. Email your video link to [email protected]. If your video is password protected, please be sure to include the video password. Your video should run no longer than fifteen minutes. At the beginning, please clearly state your name, age, and where you currently study. The video should include these basic elements of barre and center: One side each of plies, tendus, degages, rond de jambe (a terre and en l’air), frappes, adagio, and grands battements. Women (ages 14+), please wear pointe shoes in the center. In the center, demonstrate adagio, pirouettes, petit allegro, and grand allegro. Men, please demonstrate one combination each of batterie and tour en l’air.Audition Description
