Video Requirements:

Audition videos should be between 10 and 15 minutes of barre and centre work, including allegro. Pointe work may also be included. A photo of yourself facing front in tendu 2nd position, with arms in 2nd position and a photo in 1st arabesque line should accompany the video, along with a completed Audition Registration, a letter of recommendation from your ballet teacher and payment of the Video Audition fee of $65 CAD.

Audition Description

Audition Guidelines Admission to the Teacher Training Program is by audition only. Students must have a high school graduation diploma (Grade 12 / Senior 4 in Manitoba) or a GED (General Educational Development) diploma to enroll in the Program and be at an intermediate or higher level of ballet. If you are unable to attend one of the in-person or virtual auditions, you may submit a video audition until June 1, 2026. Students who are accepted following their audition will be invited to attend the Assessment Workshops, which will take place in Winnipeg from February 6-8, 2026. This is the second step in the audition process for admission to the full-time Regular Session, which runs from September to June.
