Preparation for the Major (43 units) To qualify for upper division study, students must pass a Junior Level Review. BIOL 100 - General Biology Units: 3 BIOL 100L - General Biology Laboratory Units: 1 DANCE 100D - Dance Activity: Yoga for Dancers Units: 1 (one unit) must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better. DANCE 140 - Freshman Seminar Units: 1 DANCE 145 - Dancemaking Praxis I Units: 3 DANCE 156 - Contact Improvisation I Units: 1 must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better. DANCE 181 - Introduction to Dance Units: 3 DANCE 190 - Somatic Movement Practices I Units: 1 (one unit) must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
