Program 2 Housing
This program is for students ages 15-18, based on age as of July 1, 2025. Previous ballet training is required. This program is dedicated to advanced and pre-professional students and is designed to explore the demands of a professional career. You’ll be introduced to the unique repertory of San Francisco Ballet while studying technique, pointe, pas de deux, batterie and repertoire, and may include additional classes such as contemporary dance, acting, and conditioning. In all, you can expect to take a minimum of 15 classes each week.

Session 1 housing
This program is for students ages 12–15, based on age as of July 1, 2025. Previous ballet training is required. Supervised housing is offered at the Bowes dormitory. Designed to provide intermediate students with a deeper understanding of ballet as an art form, this program focuses on improving skills and strength. The curriculum includes technique, pointe, batterie, and pas de deux classes. Additional classes may include repertoire, character dance, pantomime, and conditioning.
