Everyone who wishes to major (BFA and BA/BS) or minor in dance is required to audition to be accepted into the Department of Dance. The dance audition is a separate process from admission to the university and can be done before or after applying. All students who wish to enroll in dance majors courses must be accepted by SUNY Brockport and the Department of Dance. Several non-major dance classes are available to students not accepted into the department. Vide auditions are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed in the order received. Audition applications must be received at least one week prior to the date of audition.Updated: Sept. 23, 2024
