Tampa City Ballet is seeking bold, curious, and expressive contemporary dancers (18+, men & women) to audition for ERA: Emerging Resident Artist, a cutting-edge performance experience unlike anything currently happening in the Tampa Bay dance scene. ERA is a genre-defying collaboration merging contemporary dance, artificial intelligence, digital projection, and multimedia artistry. This work challenges how dancers move with technology, not beside it. Dancers selected will work with an exceptional lineup of choreographers: Jennifer Petuch – digital choreography + AI-integrated projection design Onsel Delgado – Artistic Director of Malpaso Dance Company and choreographer, his pieces are rooted in power, precision, and humanity Emerging choreographers Brian Gonzalez and Marta Ortega, representing the next generation of Tampa City Ballet artists This is an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking creative process where movement activates digital worlds and dancers become part of a living multimedia environment.
