The Metropolitan Opera is seeking video submissions from dancers for the 2025-26 new production of Gabriela Lena Frank’s magical-realist portrait of Mexico’s painterly power couple, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego. Director and choreographer, Deborah Colker, is seeking 12 performing dancers and 4 cover dancers with exceptional Acrobatic and/or Break-Dancing abilities, as well as strong contemporary dance experience, to portray men and women in the production.
