The Washington School of Ballet (TWSB) NW Campus Summer Programs give over 325 students from around the world the opportunity to study for four to six weeks with our acclaimed faculty. TWSB provides a safe, nurturing environment enabling each student to explore their technical and artistic capabilities. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of young dancers to grow and expand to their full potential. Chaperoned housing for the 5 week Summer Intensive at TWSB’s NW Campus will be at American University, just .6 mile from our studios at 3515 Wisconsin Ave.

Session Description

The Washington School of Ballet NW Campus Summer Intensive gives students from around the world the opportunity to study for five weeks with our internationally recognized faculty, Artistic Director, Edwaard Liang, incoming School Director, Trinidad Vives, and acclaimed guest artists. The Summer Intensive culminates in a studio showing for friends and family. With over 30 hours of curriculum per week, the schedule includes classical ballet technique, pointe work, variations, men’s technique, pas de deux, flamenco, jazz, contemporary, character, body conditioning, repertory, and composition. Included in your tuition is access to on-site physical therapy appointments with our Restore Motion partners.
