Ballett Kiel under the artistic direction of Yaroslav Ivanenko and Heather Jurgensen is looking for one professional male dancer starting at the beginning of the season 2026/2027. Since taking over the dance company at Theater Kiel in 2011, Yaroslav Ivanenko, together with his partner Heather Jurgensen as co-director and ballet mistress, has focused on building up a versatile, innovative and appealing company that is well versed in classical, neoclassical and contemporary style. Ballett Kiel is a company of 11 women and 10 men. Ivanenko's own choreographic language is fluid and athletic, with emphasis on challenging technique and partnering work. Often playfully humorous, his work encompasses refreshing interpretations of ballets from the classical canon as well as original contemporary works. From the 2026/2027 season onwards, we are looking for one male dancer with strong classical technique as well as contemporary technique and improvisation skills. Minimum height of 180 cm for the male dancers. Professional experience preferred. Please prepare one classical and one contemporary variation.
