DANCE MAJOR AUDITIONS FOR ENTRANCE IN 2025-26 WILL BE HELD FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2024 AND FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2025. A virtual audition for those unable to travel will be planned for FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2025. You must complete an application to the UGA Department of Dance one week before your scheduled audition. The following items are to be submitted along with your audition application form: 1. A full length picture of the applicant in dance attire in a position of your choice. Please do not use a performance picture in costume and make-up. If submitting by e-mail, please send as a JPEG format only. 2. 200-250 word double-spaced typewritten statement of purpose. This statement should include the applicant's reason for wanting to earn a degree in dance, current range of career goals, and general comments upon the value of dance training to the individual.Updated: Sept. 16, 2024
