Applications are submitted to the Graduate College. The application deadline for the 2026–2027 academic year is November 1, 2025. Late applications will not be considered. Select students will be invited to a virtual audition on December 11, 2025, after evaluation of their submitted materials. Invitation to attend the in-person MFA audition session at UIUC is scheduled for January 28-29, 2026 and is required to be eligible for admittance to the program.Updated: Aug. 26, 2025
