Description

A minor in Dance consists of 18 semester hours. Visit the University of North Texas 2021-2022 UNT CATALOG (the UNT 2022-2023 Catalog is to be released by UNT on July 1, 2022) which lists the dance degree requirements, minor requirements, course descriptions, pre-requisite requirements, and core requirements for the University of North Texas and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Marketable skills for these degrees include interpersonal, cognitive, and applied skill areas, that are valued by employers, and are primary or complementary to the major. The marketable skills goal was designed to help students articulate their skills to employers. UNT's marketable skills were faculty-developed and approved by employers or discipline-specific agencies, e.g., internship providers, chamber of commerce, workforce development boards, and other workforce-related entities.
