Video auditions for School Programs, Intensives, and Vitacca Ballet Company + Apprentice must include: Dancer introduction with full name and program for which they are auditioning Four to five barre exercises (one side) Center adagio including développé a la seconde on both right and left, and en dehors pirouette Center pointe work including a pirouette, pique arabesque, and extension of choice Center contemporary phrasing on flatAudition Description
Auditions are required for summer intensives, Vitacca Performing Companies, Accelerated Homeschool Division, and scholarship programs. All other training programs have open registration and may be joined at any time by assessment class. Contact us today to schedule yours! Vitacca Ballet & School for Dance Pre-Professional Performance Programs are for advanced dancers focused in classical and contemporary training. Dancers ages 8-18 may audition by video, or through an onsite class on February 1st, March 1st, or April 19th. Dancers must attend the audition at the Houston or Woodlands school locations, or submit an audition video by June 1.Associated Programs
