Video Requirements:

Prepare an audition reel that includes the following: Ballet Barré (with one hand on the barré and filmed from the side) demonstrate grand & demi plié, battement tendu, battement dégagé, grand battement exercises, and an Adagio to include développé, passé, and relevé. Ballet Centre Floor Combinations that demonstrates stationary pirouettes en dehors and en dedans, petit allegro and a grand allegro. Include one combination from another dance genre (or two). (modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop) Solo choreographed by you or other choreographer performed in the studio or live performance not to exceed 3 minutes. You may submit solo's in more than one genre. WT Dance Faculty will review materials and will inform you of your audition standing. Audition Description

For those students unable to attend Dance Day auditions, WT Dance will accept online auditions – please follow the directions below. Video Submission Requirements To apply for University admission, please visit wtamu.edu/apply. To apply for the WT Dance Program, fill out our application and audition form and submit your YouTube or Vimeo link of your dance video (see instructions below) along with you Headshot and Resume.
