Candidates for company positions must be at least 12 years of age or have completed the 6th grade and have at least three years of ballet experience. The dress code for the audition class is a black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, pointe shoes (for those with at least one year of pointe class) and hair pulled away from face in a nice bun for women. Men are to wear black tights, white or black t-shirt and ballet shoes. The 2024-2025 Western Arkansas Ballet Company’s performing season includes the 39th Annual production of The Nutcracker, a fall performance, Dance Fusion, the Regional Dance America/Southwest Festival, and Spring Dance Concert. Each company member, after acceptance by the adjudication committee, will be required to attend classes four to five times per week including ballet, pointe and a modern class as well as rehearsals two to four times per week.Updated: Jan. 10, 2025
