These nationally recognised VET qualifications provide intensive training in ballet technique and develop artistic expression through practical experience, daily classes and performance opportunities. These are intensive performance courses, with students averaging 35-40 contact hours per week. Daily tuition from WAAPA’s professional teaching staff focuses on building technical excellence, while three performance seasons per year give students the opportunity to refine their skills by working with international and Australian guest artists, local choreographers, staff and peers.
