Video Requirements:

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS All Ages: Applications must include a headshot. Ages 11+: Applications must include a full body photo of the application in first arabesque. VIDEO REQUIREMENTS Please only perform one side of each combination Videos must be no more than 10 minutes long Videos must be recently filmed within the last month No warm ups, leg warmers or skirts Ages 12+: Barre work to include the following: Plié (1st & 5th position) Tendu Fondu Adagio (to include an arabesque line) Grande battement Center work to include the following: Adagio Pirouettes Petit allegro Grand allegro Female Pointe work: Relevé Passé Échappé Pirouettes Piqué and relevé arabesque Men's work to include the following: Petit allegro with beats Pirouettes Tours en l'air

Audition Description

Video auditions are accepted for both the Pre-Professional and Professional Programs. All video auditions must be submitted through: https://app.getacceptd.com/houstonballet with a $75.00 USD credit card payment. Emailed video links and mailed DVDs will not be acknowledged or returned.  Audition Fee: $50 USD Registration details coming soon.
