Description

The 2024 Choreographic Intensive is a unique, two-week summer program where a selective group of students ages 14 and up will have the exclusive opportunity to work with new and emerging guest choreographers. Students will experience first-hand what it’s like to have a work created on them, while choreographers will have the inspiration create new work. The program takes place at MCB Studios in Miami Beach. This unique learning opportunity offers to dance beyond their technique and experience life in a company setting. During these two weeks, students will have a daily technique class with MCB faculty, followed by a full day of rehearsals with the choreographers. The program concludes with a live performance to premiere the new pieces giving the students an exciting and unique performance experience. The performance will be held in-person in our Lynn & Louis Wolfson II Theater located at MCB Studios 2200 Liberty Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33139. Please note that students must commit to the entirety of the program. At the conclusion of the Choreographic Intensive, students who demonstrate exceptional talent, potential and commitment are invited to join MCB School’s accomplished year-round training program in our Pre-Professional Divisions. To be part of our 2024 Choreographic Intensive Program, students must audition during our Summer Audition Tour by the following: Attend an in-person class in one of the cities during our 2024 National Audition Tour or Send us your audition video.
