Portland Ballet is excited to announce the return of Open Auditions for our 2024 production of A Victorian Nutcracker! Auditions are open to dancers ages 7-17 from any studio in our community and will be held at our facility on Saturday, August 24th. Students who are enrolled in classes at Portland School of Ballet for the 2024/2025 School Year do not need to audition. Audition Information: Saturday, August 24th, 2024 at Portland Ballet (517 Forest Ave, Suite #2, Portland ME) Pre-registration is required. Please register for the group that fits your age at the time of the audition. Additionally, please read below for performance and dress rehearsal dates. Participants must be able to commit to attending all of these performance and dress rehearsal dates. Dress Code: Please wear a solid colored leotard, pink/skin-colored tights, ballet shoes (ladies) or black tights, solid colored t-shirt, ballet socks and shoes (gentlemen).
