SAB will hold an audition for the 2024-25 school year for 11-18-year-olds with previous ballet training on September 3, 2024. The audition times will be announced July of 2024. Proof of Age: Applicants must provide official proof of birth at the time of registration. Only a birth certificate or passport will be acceptable as proof. As a general rule, recommendation letters, photographs and resumes are not accepted at auditions. All applicants ages 12 and older for SAB’s girls’ training track should bring pointe shoes to the audition. Please read the FAQ for additional audition dress code information. Audition fees are non-refundable. We regret that refunds cannot be provided to applicants who register for an audition at SAB but are later unable to attend. Observation of auditions is not permitted SAB operates an on-site residence during the Winter Term for approximately 60 students who live outside of the New York metropolitan area. Priority for housing is given to our re-enrolling students and to students who attend our five-week Summer Course in July. Housing will likely not be available for applicants by the time of the fall audition.
