Description
UNCSA Summer Dance offers three unique programs: Classical Ballet and Contemporary Intensive: A four-week program running from June 22 to July 19 for students ages 12–18. DANCE | CONNECTION NOW: A two-week intensive from June 29 to July 12 for dances ages 15–25. Each intensive is designed to fits the needs of serious dance artists at any point in their training or career, providing gifted emerging artists with the experience, knowledge, and skills needed to excel in their disciplines and their lives. With a small faculty-to-student ratio, dancers receive unparalleled personal attention and reach incredible levels of achievement.

Immerse yourself in the cutting-edge creative processes, teaching methodologies, and bold repertory of the industry's most influential choreographers. This experience is an intense exploration of movement designed to challenge, inspire, and propel you into your professional career. Each day, you'll dive into rigorous contemporary technique classes and creative practice courses that sharpen your skills in improvisation, composition, and phrase work. But this program is about more than just training—it's about creating. You'll be cast in two dynamic projects: a brand-new original work crafted by one of our visionary choreographers from the Choreographic Institute and a visually stunning dance film directed by the powerhouse team of Grady Bowman and Ashley Lindsey from GXA Creative.
