This fall and winter, Alberta Ballet School faculty will travel across Canada to audition for placements in our 2025 Summer Intensive. (Dates of the 2025 Summer Intensive will be announced in the coming weeks.) Summer Intensive is a three-week program of full-day intensive training taught by Alberta Ballet School faculty. The 3-week program includes Ballet, Pointe Work, Pas de Deux (for select levels), Repertoire, Variations, Contemporary, Character Dance and Body Conditioning. Designed to strengthen and develop your abilities as a dancer, this is an opportunity to explore a short-term commitment to intensive professional ballet training and connect with dance students from across Canada! A residence option for out-of-town students is offered at Calgary's Mount Royal University campus. Ballet students in grades 5-8: register in the Junior Student Auditions. Ballet students in grades 9-12: register in the Senior Student Auditions. Looking for graduate training? We'll also audition dance students aged 18+ for our Post-Graduate Program. These auditions can secure your spot in our Summer Intensive and/or in the 2025-26 full-year program.Associated Programs
